Invictus Gaming got off to a great start with successfully executing 4 of NP’s heroes in 5 ganks within the first 10 minutes of the game. However, iG overextended in a failed attempt to kill Ember Spirit, which gave NP a chance to kill off 4 iG heroes during the counter-attack. iG continued to execute ganks with Storm Spirit+Lifestealer, but NP managed to get better trade-offs in every exchange. After being down by 4 kills in the early stages, Team NP made a good recovery in the mid-game by taking a lead on the scoreboard  15-11 at 20 minutes into the game. After securing the Aegis of Immortal, the ball was in NP’s court, and they didn’t give iG any breathing space to make a comeback. Game 1 ended in the 28th minute after Invictus Gaming tapped out with 13-23 on the scoreboard favoring Team NP. FATA played an outstanding Ember Spirit, as he juked around Op’s Storm Spirit to survive at 7 HP during one team-fight!

Your eyes are not deceiving you! That is a Position 4 Brewmaster played by Aui_2000. Team NP caught iG by surprise with an unusual draft. The early game went in Team NP’s favor with MSS securing multiple kills on Q’s Disruptor in the offlane. MSS proceeded to make timely rotations across the map resulting in getting kills for his team while giving EternaLEnVy enough space to farm on his Medusa. Hoping for a comeback, iG initiated a fight at 24 minutes, only to lose all 5 heroes without killing any of Team NP’s heroes. Minutes later NP killed off majority of iG’s heroes and followed up by taking down Roshan and securing the Aegis for the Medusa twice in consecutive attempts. iG scurried to salvage the game but were overwhelmed by NP’s teamwork as Medusa stayed on the front lines to tank through all of iG’s damage. The game ended with 45 minutes on the clock and 27-12 on the scoreboard in Team NP’s favor.

Final result – Team NP defeated Invictus Gaming (2-0)
